Back to Cerler Peak

The half marathon Around the Cerler peak runs along tracks and trails that link Benasque with other locations and nearby places, taking as reference the Cerler peak and one of the best areas for alpine skiing in the Pyrenees. From its beginning in the town of Benasque, the race sets course along a road parallel to the Ésera river to the urbanization of Linsoles, then continue to the picturesque town of Anciles and take the signposted PR-HU 33 path that ascends to Cerler. From here it goes to surround the Cerler peak, continuing towards the Ampriu, where the route crosses the Aramón-Cerler facilities, passing through the Colladeta and the Cota 2000 station. Once the base of the station in El Molino is reached, a dizzying descent begins on PR-HU 27 and 28, crossing the finish line again in Benasque.
